PAWS London Capital moved up two places in the league table with an excellent away performance at Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders.

The 70-82 victory was Capital’s fifth away win of the campaign and saw them leap ahead of Riders and BiG Storage Cheshire Jets into ninth position.

Capital were in control throughout as they eased into a 14-25 first quarter lead. They were helped somewhat by double-technical fouls on Riders duo Marcus Knight and Mindus Janiska, which helped them go in 25-46 at half time.

Riders trimmed the deficit back to 15 at the end of third quarter (45-60) but couldn’t get close enough during the final stanza to worry a confident Capital team.
